Aaron Williams scored a hat-trick as Brackley Town defeated National League North leaders Salford City 4-0 to progress to the Buildbase FA Trophy first round.
Two goals either side of half-time gave the promotion-chasing club a comfortable victory over their league rivals in the third qualifying round tie.
Williams opened the scoring after 17 minutes and notched his brace a quarter of an hour later when he flicked home after good work from Matt Lowe.
He completed his hat-trick after 61 minutes before midfielder Glenn Walker completed the scoring in added time.
There was high drama at the South Kesteven Sports Stadium as a late Josh O’Keefe goal saw Chorley defeat Grantham Town 4-3.
Luke Shaw scored twice before half-time to give Grantham a 3-1 lead going into the break, before a Josh Wilson brace brought Chorley level.
But O’Keefe’s goal in the 89th minute prevented the home side from pulling off the upset and spared Chorley’s blushes.
Struggling Nuneaton were given a much needed confidence boost as they resoundingly defeated relegation rivals North Ferriby 5-1.
