Paul Simpson's side narrowly lost to Czech Republic on Friday afternoon

England U19s slipped to a narrow 1-0 defeat in their first game of the week against Czech Republic.

The Young Lions played the first of a double header in the region, with Slovakia next up across the border on Monday.

But Paul Simpson’s side couldn’t find a way past a resolute Czech side in Znojmo with a second-half goal proving decisive for the hosts.

The squad will now head to Slovakia, where they will play at NTC Senec on Monday afternoon.
