The Emirates FA Cup made the trip to Cornwall last week ahead of Wednesday's local derby between Bodmin Town and Bideford.
With the south-west rivals meeting in the second round qualifying, Cup fever has been growing in the area with hosts Bodmin being one of the three lowest ranked clubs left in the competition.
Having already knocked out three higher-ranked teams away from home so far, the South West Peninsula League Premier Division outfit are ready for their first home tie at Priory Park, after the initial game on Saturday was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
And should Town see off Devon-based outfit Bideford for a spot in the third round qualifying, then it would match their all-time best FA Cup performance with a trip to Haringey Borough in store for the winners.
Excitement is high ahead of the game and Bodmin president Brian Retallack, also the father-in-law of manager Darren Gilbert, said: “We were absolutely delighted to see the Emirates FA Cup trophy here, it’s been amazing for the players, fans and especially for the kids.
“After travelling away for the last three games, we can’t wait to play at Priory Park this weekend, hopefully in front of a big home crowd.”
