England U20s welcome three new faces to their squad as they face Italy and Czech Republic in October.
Young Lions boss Keith Downing has named a 21-man group for the fixtures, which starts with a trip to Gorgonzola to face the Azzurrini on Thursday 5 October.
They will then return to St. George’s Park for their second game of the international week against the Czechs on Tuesday 10 October.
And Downing has called up Swindon Town goalkeeper Will Henry, MK Dons defender Callum Brittain and AFC Bournemouth midfielder Connor Mahoney to join his squad for the first time.
Former Accrington Stanley and Blackburn Rovers playmaker Mahoney has been capped previously back in 2014 when he featured for the U17s and U18s, ironically against Italy for the latter and Henry was involved in an U19s training camp last term, but for Brittain it’s a first taste of life with the Young Lions.
Downing’s team began their campaign with a 3-0 victory over the Netherlands earlier this month, before being held to a 0-0 draw in Switzerland in their second game in September.
