Gabby George has urged her Everton team-mates to not be overawed by the occasion when the Toffees face Arsenal in the semi-final of the SSE Women’s FA Cup.
The FA WSL 1 duo go head-to-head on Sunday for a place in next month’s Wembley showpiece.
Everton, Cup winners in 2010, lost both league encounters to the Gunners this season but George believes her side will be focused for the last-four clash.
She said: “First and foremost we need to stick together and work hard as a team.
“We need to do what we know we are good at; we shouldn’t change anything just because of the occasion.
“We know Arsenal are a quality side and they will punish us if we’re not at our best so we need to be switched on from the first minute.
“Playing at Marine will help because we’ve got a good fanbase there and they can help push us on through the game.”
A 17-year-old George lined up against Arsenal in the 2014 Final in Milton Keynes.
A Kelly Smith masterpiece helped the north London club claim a 13th Cup crown but George said she took a lot from the experience.
She explained: “It was an amazing achievement by everyone at the club to reach that Final and it was a great game to play in, especially because I was quite young at the time so it was a good experience for me.
“Obviously we didn’t get the result we wanted on the day, but that just makes us want it more this year.
“Some people might look at it as a chance for revenge but this is just a chance to get to another Final.
“As players, we want to get to as many Finals as we can and win as much silverware as we can. Hopefully we can make the most of this opportunity.”
Holders Manchester City take on 2015 winners Chelsea in the other semi-final (3.30pm).
Both matches will be broadcast live by BBC.
This season’s Final will be staged at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 5 May.
