England U21s drawn alongside Austria and Turkey for Euro 2021 qualifiers

Aidy Boothroyd has led the Young Lions to the 2019 Euro finals

England have been drawn in qualifying Group 3 for the 2021 UEFA Under-21 European Championship.

Aidy Boothroyd’s side face opposition from Austria, Turkey, Kosovo, Albania and Andorra.

The Young Lions’ 2021 campaign will get under way in Turkey on Friday 6 September 2019 with their final qualifier, at home to Albania, scheduled for Tuesday 13 October 2020.

England qualified for next summer’s finals where they were pitched in Group C alongside France, Romania and Croatia.

The finals will take place in Italy between 16-30 June 2019.

Boothroyd led England to the semi-finals of the 2017 finals where they were edged out by Germany on penalties.
