Next season’s Emirates FA Cup will see winning clubs pick up double from the competition prize fund.
A number of new investments and initiatives were announced on Tuesday to benefit the whole of English football.
And from the new FA Cup prize fund will benefit all participating clubs at every stage of the competition during the 2018-19 season.
We will be in consultation with the leagues with regard to the exact formula of the distribution of the prize fund, which totals over £13m for this season’s competition.
Fleetwood Town are one example of a club who have benefited from the FA Cup’s prize fund payments over the last two campaigns, after reaching the third round proper for a second successive season.
