Ramona Bachmann said she has fulfilled a lifelong dream by scoring at Wembley Stadium.
The Swiss striker notched a brace as Chelsea defeated Arsenal 3-1 to win the SSE Women’s FA Cup in front of a competition record crowd.
She said: “I think it’s every footballer’s dream to play one day at Wembley.
“To win [the Cup] is the best feeling.
“I haven’t scored that much this year but it’s not important when you have Fran [Kirby] in your side who scores all the time.
“I think it doesn’t really matter who scores as long as we score the goals, but it was an amazing feeling to score in front of so many people.”
Bachmann’s double put the Blues 2-0 up before Vivianne Miedema pulled one back for the Gunners.
England star Fran Kirby sealed Chelsea’s second Cup success with an exquisite left-footed curler.
She said: “It was incredible for us to go on the pitch and play at Wembley.
“Luckily I managed to get a goal. It’s great to win individual awards but the main ones are what you win with your team.
“I’ve been really looking forward to this day since we got through against [Manchester] City.
“I had a feeling we were going to do well and win, and that’s what’s important to me.”
