England U19s to face Turkey, Ukraine and France at Euro Finals in Finland this July

England U19s qualified for the Euro Finals at March's Elite Round in Macedonia in March

England U19s will face opposition from Turkey, Ukraine and France in the group stage of this summer’s Euro Finals.

The Young Lions head to Finland in July with the aim of defending the title which they won last year and Wednesday’s draw in Nyon saw them picked in Group B.

Paul Simpson’s squad, who recently had a post-season training camp to prepare for the Euros, will get together again ahead of the Finals to continue their focus next month.

They reached the last eight after topping their group in the Elite Round in March, when they beat both Iceland and Hungary before losing to hosts Macedonia in their final game.

Turkey will be England's first opponents on Tuesday 17 July at the Seinäjoki Stadium, where the Young Lions will also face Ukraine three days later on Friday 20 July.

It will then be France in the final group game on Monday 23 July at the Vaasa Stadium.

In Group A, hosts Finland were drawn with Portugal, Norway and Italy. The competition takes place between 16 and 29 July, with the top two nations from each group progressing to the semi-finals.
