Joseph Gelhardt scored twice to help England U17s defeat Russia in their second match of a mini-tournament being hosted on home turf.
Brighton & Hove Albion defender Haydon Roberts broke the deadlock on the half-hour mark, converting Ben Knight’s corner at the second attempt.
And the Young Lions were home and hosed by half time thanks to Gelhardt’s brace.
The Wigan Athletic forward doubled the lead on 43 minutes when he drilled home from the edge of the box.
He completed the scoring in added time, producing a brilliant turn and pinpoint finish.
It gave Steve Cooper’s side their second win in three days, following the 3-1 victory over USA on Friday.
England’s final tournament match is against Brazil at AFC Telford United’s New Bucks Head Stadium on Tuesday 16 October (7pm).
