Gemma Grainger has named a 20-player squad for the first qualifying round of the UEFA Women’s European U17 Championship.
The Young Lionesses have been pitched against host nation Moldova (who they will face on Wednesday 19 September), Azerbaijan (Saturday 22 September) and Iceland (Tuesday 25 September).
Grainger said: “Naming the squad has been a privilege with such a talented group of players.
“We are all really looking forward to heading out to Moldova to begin our qualifying campaign and continue this group’s learning and development.”
