Manchester lifted the FA County Youth Cup, after a 3-0 victory over Norfolk in Rochdale.
An early goal from Anointed Chukwu and a brace from Taylor Dyson proved enough to help the team, representing the Manchester FA, to their first-ever title in the competition.
And it came in the 75th edition of the competition, against the county who lifted last year’s title with their win over Staffordshire.
Jamie Russell’s side wasted no time and scored within a minute of kick-off as Chukwu stroked the ball past Norfolk ‘keeper Connor Milligan after being put clear on goal.
Dyson then got his first and Manchester’s second, after cutting inside from the right and then smashing home a powerful low shot to put them in driving seat going into the second half.
Manchester began the second half strongly and had chances to add to their lead, with Milligan managing to keep them at bay on a number of occasions.
But with ten minutes remaining, it was Dyson who put extra gloss on the scoreline with Manchester’s third, as he curled home from the edge of the box into the bottom corner to seal the victory.
