Fara Williams and Hannah Blundell replace Fran Kirby and Alex Greenwood

Alex Greenwood joined Lyon after leading Manchester United to the 2018-19 FA Women's Championship title

Chelsea forward Fran Kirby and Lyon defender Alex Greenwood have withdrawn from the England Women’s squad due to injury and will return to their clubs.

Chelsea defender Hannah Blundell and Reading midfielder Fara Williams were called up to the Lionesses squad as Phil Neville’s England team commenced training at their St. George’s Park base today [Monday] ahead of the forthcoming internationals against Belgium and Norway.

England face Belgium at the Den Dreef Stadium in Leuven on Thursday 29 August (kick off 6:30pm BST).

The squad then travel to Bergen to take on Norway at Brann Stadion on Tuesday 3 September (kick off 5pm BST)

Both matches will be broadcast live on BBC Two.
