England C face their first game of 2019 in March, when they host Wales at Salford City’s Peninsula Stadium.
The Non-League Lions ended last year with a win over Estonia at Leyton Orient and Paul Fairclough’s squad head to the north west for their next game on Tuesday 19 March.
Fairclough has named a 16-man squad for the game, with the group meeting up in Manchester after their club fixtures on Saturday 16 March and training at Bury FC to prepare for the game.
It’s a return fixture from last year’s thrilling clash in Barry, where England came back across the border with a 3-2 victory in what was the first meeting at this level between the nations.
Only four members of the team involved that night remain in the squad for this game in the shape of Dan Jones, Laurence Maguire, Ryan Croasdale and James Hardy.
But many of the group who were involved in that win over Estonia last November are selected again, including Alfie Pavey who scored the winner from the penalty spot in that game.
England C is a representative team for U23 players who feature for clubs at National League level and below.
Fans can pay to watch the game on the night, with admission costing £10 for adults, £5 for concessions (U16 and over 60) with U5s going free.
The match is also being screened live on Welsh TV channel S4C.
