Dr Pippa Grange has announced she is to leave The FA later this year.
Our head of people and team development was appointed at St. George’s Park in November 2017 and tasked with bringing the skills and expertise in-house to improve resilience in major tournaments.
As well as the senior sides, her wide-ranging remit at the national football centre included working with all men’s and women’s England squads, including coaches, high-performance staff and players, to support the culture and leadership work around each team.
Grange said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at The FA alongside a talented group of people in what has been a transformational period for England teams.
"It has been very rewarding to see the creation of such a positive environment for players to express themselves with freedom on and off the pitch, and the impact this has had internally and externally.
“The time is right for others to build on the foundations that have been put in place. We've built a strong team in the last 18 months, and I am confident we will continue to feel the benefit in the years to come. Culture coaching is now firmly embedded in the England experience and I am certain that the more work that is done in this vital area, the more we will see that reflected in performance.
“Personally, moving on from The FA will allow me to focus my attention on the broadening definition of success and winning in sport, especially for woman and girls, and I hope to stay close to the organisation in the years to come.
"The progress that has been made has been great to see and it has been a pleasure and a privilege to have been involved.”
