England C will head across the border to face Wales next year, for what will be their third International Challenge Match.
The game will take place at the Oval, home of Caernarfon Town FC, on Tuesday 24 March 2020 (7.45pm)
Paul Fairclough’s team drew 2-2 with Wales in Salford earlier this year, with an OG from Nathan Peate and a free-kick from Kurt Willoughby twice cancelled out by goals from Kayne McLaggon and Adam Roscrow.
The nations had also met in 2018, when the Non-League Lions secured a 3-2 win at Rodney Parade in Bangor thanks to a hat-trick from Fejiri Okenabirhie.
"I look forward with great anticipation to the England C fixture against Wales,” said Fairclough, whose squad is selected from players aged U23 who play outside of the EFL.
“In the last two seasons, we’ve renewed our links with our friends from the Welsh FA, resulting in this established annual fixture.
“The previous encounters have provided a feast of goals and entertainment for the fans of football and the technical quality outstanding.
“I’m confident that we have another great game of football to look forward to."
Wales will select their squad from U23 players in the League of Wales and will be led by joint coaches Mark Jones and Owain Tudur Jones
“We’re excited about playing this match at the home of Caernarfon Town,” added Jones.
“We know that not only the Cofis’ passionate fans will come out in support of the Cymru C squad at the Oval but all those in the surrounding area as well, and we can’t wait to bring international football to their doorstep.
“This will be the third match between Cymru and England in as many seasons and I will be attempting to assemble a strong squad to give us the best possible chance in March.”
Ticketing details for the match at The Oval will be released in due course.
