Omar Richards has joined the England MU21s squad for this week’s games with Slovenia and Austria.
The Reading defender has linked-up with Aidy Boothroyd’s group ahead of their trip to Maribor on Thursday afternoon, following the withdrawal of Norwich City’s Todd Cantwell, Huddersfield Town’s Trevoh Chalobah and Chelsea’s Reece James through injury.
England will train at the Ljudski vrt Stadium ahead of their match against Slovenia on Friday (5pm BST).
They will then return to England where they will resume their 2021 U21 EURO qualifying campaign against Austria at Stadium MK in Milton Keynes. Both teams are joint top of Group 3 with two wins in two.
