Notts County have made it into the Emirates FA Cup first round draw after scraping past Belper Town with a 2-1 win.
The Magpies did it the hard way and came from behind after Danny Gordon unleashed an unstoppable 25-yard drive into Sam Slocombe’s top corner with just over 10 minutes on the clock.
However, Neal Ardley’s men dug deep and equalised through Enzio Boldewijn who curled past Ryan Musselwhite in the Nailers’ net.
And with 15 minutes left to play Regan Booty played in Kyle Wootton who calmly slotted home to ensure Notts County will make the main draw.
Meanwhile Billericay Town goalkeeper Alan Julian was in dreamland after coming up for a last-minute corner only to head home the equaliser to force a replay with Sutton United.
Unsurprisingly it was the first goal of the 36-year-old's career and it kept the Blues in the hat for the first round having gone 1-0 down to Omar Bugiel's eighth-minute strike.
Julien then jogged up the field in an all-or-nothing moment and rose highest in the penalty area to send the travelling fans wild and seal a 1-1 draw as well as a place in Billericay Town folklore.
Elsewhere Carshalton Athletic knocked out National League side Dagenham & Redbridge with a 2-1 win thanks to a late Ricky Korboa winner.
The Robins went ahead just after the break when Bobby Price finished neatly into the bottom corner but the Daggers hit back through Reece Grant to set up a dramatic finish and a moment to remember for Korboa.
Bromley and Aldershot Town played out a thriller with the Ravens earning the spoils with a 4-3 victory.
The hosts raced into a 2-0 lead thanks to Joe Kizzi and Michael Cheek but Aldershot hit straight back via Mohammed Bettamer.
Jack Holland restored the two-goal cushion when Cheek got his second goal of the game on 67 minutes.
Although the Shots put up a fight, getting another back via Robbie Tinkler, Bromley marched into the next round.
And there were memorable wins for Isthmian League teams Maldon & Tiptree and Chichester City.
The North Division’s Jammers won 3-1 away at Royston Town while the South East Division’s Lillywhites earned their stripes in a 2-1 victory over Bowers & Pitsea to ensure the eighth tier of English football will be represented in the main draw.
There were also wins for Hartlepool United who beat Brackley 1-0 in front of 2,500 fans, AFC Fylde who swept Peterborough Sports aside with a 6-1 victory, and Torquay United who came through an all National League affair with Boreham Wood after a 3-2 win.
And Potters Bar Town earned themselves a replay with an incredible equaliser ten minutes into stoppage time to draw 1-1 with Barnet.
Replays will take place on Tuesday 22 October for Stourbridge v Whitby Town, Wrexham v Chesterfield, Woking v Ebbsfleet United, Eastleigh v Welling United, Wealdstone v Maidenhead United, Poole Town v Hayes & Yeading United, Barnet v Potters Bar Town and Billericay Town v Sutton United – which all finished with the scores even.
