The England Blind squad has been selected ahead of next week’s IBSA European Championship Finals in Rome.
Head coach Jon Pugh has picked a ten-man squad for the trip to Italy, where the Three Lions will be aiming for both Euro glory and a spot at next year’s Paralympics in Tokyo.
England have been drawn out in their group stage with current Euro champions Russia, Germany, France and Greece.
They kick-off four days of action with their first game on Tuesday 17 September against Germany, before taking on France the following day.
Thursday 19 September sees them play Russia before they round off their initial fixtures against Greece on Friday 20 September.
With the other group containing Italy, Romania, Spain, Belgium and Turkey, the top two nations from each group table will progress to the semi-finals on Sunday 22 September.
The Final and third-place game will both be held on Tuesday 24 September, with the two finalists qualifying for Tokyo 2020.
Pugh and his squad spent this week preparing for the Euros with a training camp at St. George’s Park, following on from their appearance at the Tango Cup in Argentina in June.
