Eight years have passed since Arsenal and Leeds United last met, a tie which ended in a 1-0 win for the Gunners at exactly the same stage of the competition on 9 January 2012.
Top-flight Arsenal beating Championship side Leeds United by a solitary goal in the third round of the FA Cup wouldn’t ordinarily grab the headlines - except this time it did.
The goalscorer happened to be the same man to have buried more chances for the club than any other player in its history. He even has a statue, midway through his iconic knee-slide celebration, outside the Emirates Stadium.
There's only one player it can be and, if you haven't guessed it by now, it was Thierry Henry.
The 34-year-old was on a two-month loan back at Arsenal from New York Red Bulls, having not played for the club since leaving for Barcelona in 2007.
Five years had gone by and an older, now-bearded Henry didn't cut quite possess the same je ne sais quoi as he once did at Highbury.
Nor did he wear the same shirt number and, with his iconic 14 occupied by Theo Walcott, he was forced to settle for the unfamiliar number 12.
However, some believe his Arsenal return was written in the stars and having come off the bench to make his second debut, the Frenchman netted his 12th goal against Leeds with 12 minutes remaining.
Having replaced the less-favoured Marouane Chamakh, it took Henry just ten minutes to accept an Alex Song pass in his stride, set himself with a deft touch and calmly slot his 227th Arsenal goal past Andy Lonergan in the Leeds goal.
The Gunners were ultimately stopped in the fifth round, losing 2-0 to Sunderland, but have gone on to lift the Emirates FA Cup three times since then.
Now fans will be hoping that new manager Mikel Arteta, who started in midfield for Arsenal back on that night back in 2012, can ignite a Cup run that could see them make it four titles in just seven years.
Meanwhile, Leeds United are flying high in the Championship under Marcelo Bielsa this season and having been hotly-tipped for promotion last term, will be eager to prove their worth against Premier League opposition.
The two sides will meet again at the Emirates Stadium on Monday 6 January, with kick off at 7.56pm and live on BBC One.
