England will head to Stoke and Burnley in March for their first 2021 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifiers of the year.

Aidy Boothroyd’s side will take on Andorra at the home of Stoke City on Thursday 26 March (7.45pm KO) before a meeting with Turkey at Burnley’s Turf Moor on Monday 30 March (7.45pm KO).

The Young Lions have won all four of their qualifiers so far and sit top of Group 3 heading into March, as they bid to secure their place at next year’s finals in Hungary and Slovenia.

Speaking about the two matches, Boothroyd said: “I'm really pleased with the start to our qualifying campaign so far. We've faced some good sides and very different environments and the players have responded well with both performances and results – and we're looking for more of the same in March.

“We're playing at two great stadiums, clubs with fantastic support and we hope that people come and get behind us as we look to get more points on the board in qualifying.

“We know from our game away in September that Turkey are a really strong, physical and technical side, we'll be in for a tough test and hopefully a good game.

“Andorra are well-organised team and will be difficult to break down, which is a good challenge for our players. We're really looking forward to getting back into action in March and continue working towards qualifying for the Euros.”
