Ahead of the game, hear from both managers for their thoughts on the Final
Brian Moogan - Home Bargains
BECOMING THE MANAGER: Family Bargains has been a family club since 1988 and I’ve been involved the last six or seven years as a player initially. I was asked this season to take the manager’s job, but I thought it might be a short-term thing, I used to call myself the intern manager. And with Joey Gibiliru alongside me, we’ve done well. If someone then had said we’d be in The FA Sunday Cup Final I would have bitten their hand off!

REACHING THE FINAL: It’s a competition that is always at the back of your mind as a Liverpool Sunday club. I’ve got friends who’ve won it with Oyster Martyrs and Campfield. We just took it one round at a time, you really look forward to the next round and it’s really snowballed so here we are
OUR PLAYING STYLE: Even before I came in, we’ve always seen ourselves as a good footballing side. Regardless of the conditions, we like to get it down and play. Sometimes you can’t always play like that but recently I saw Stoke’s pitch on the TV, and it was like a carpet so I think that will suit us.
THE LEVEL OF SUNDAY FOOTBALL: The quality is really good, people who aren’t involved in Sunday football might not know that. Today really is the pinnacle of all that. Lots of people have got the memories of previous Finals, who they played and where the game was held. And we certainly want to add our name to that list.
Nice one @Carra23 for the message ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️

THE OPPOSITION: They must have something about them to reach the Final, you don’t get to the FA Sunday Cup Final by chance. We’ve seen little bits, little snippets but there again you can watch as much as you want and it all depends on whether you turn up on the day. You can plan to do this and that tactically, but on the day anything can happen.
Squad: Harvey Passant, Charlie McLoughlin, Germano Mendez, Francis Foy, Josh Maguire, Lee Treble, Alex Gofton, Brendan O'Brien, Lucas Garbe, Francis Smith, Kasey Smith, Alex Noonan, Carl Peers, Thomas Owens, William Dunne, David Kelly, Dean Shacklock, Lucas Wilson, Steven Tames, Joseph Costello, Matthew Robinson, Matthew Parker, Declan Daniels, Joseph Evans
Jordan Moss - Trooper
A NEW TEAM: Trooper FC as a club go back to 1981, but the team here today really only started getting together last season with my little brother and a few of his mates, winning a treble in our first season. We brought in some good players in the close season and they’ve all been good players and good lads and we’ve been able to hit the ground running really. It’s quite remarkable what we have achieved really.

ROAD TO THE FINAL: I wouldn’t say we’ve breezed it and I don’t want to be cocky but we’ve won our matches comfortably. We played the holders, St Joseph’s and we played really well.
BUILDING TOGETHERNESS: I knew I had the quality in the team in terms of football ability but I’ve worked a lot on our togetherness. It’s a big thing for me. We go back for some food and a drink after matches and I want all the lads to attend, even if it’s only for an orange juice. And the good results in this competition have also helped to develop a togetherness. Eight players came in during the close season and I’ve worked hard on getting it all to gel.
PLAYING STYLE: We like to play out from the back, we press high and I think we are good on the ball. The club has managed to bring in some good players.
THE OPPOSITION: I don’t know much about the opposition. Watching videos and playing are so different, two different things really. I am one of those who focuses more on what we are doing.
Squad: Tom Allsopp, Conal Dowling, Simon Conourne, Louie O'Conor, Kory Burke, Lewis Hayden, Danico Johnson, Alex Tomkinson, Kyle Rowley, Ellis Deeney, Troy Smith, Cameron Lee, Torryn Connolly, Dominic Perkins, Trey Braithwaite, James Bowen, Chris Cowley, Dean Rathbone
