Richard Bredice sanctioned
Burnley’s lead first team performance analyst, Richard Bredice, has been fined £4,500 and suspended for 12 months from all football-related activity for misconduct in relation to betting.
He admitted that he breached FA Rule E1.2 by placing 456 bets on football matches and/or any other matter concerning or related to football between 1 November 2014 and 13 December 2022.
Six months of his suspension is effective immediately, while six months is suspended until the conclusion of the 2025-26 season. The independent Regulatory Commission’s written reasons for this case can be found below.
