Jarred Gillett will referee the Community Shield
Jarred Gillett will now referee the 2024 FA Community Shield on Saturday following a minor injury sustained by John Brooks.
Gillett was initially appointed as the match’s fourth official and Sam Barrott will take up this role instead.
The rest of the team sees Adrian Holmes and Nick Greenhalgh as assistant referees.
Peter Bankes is the video assistant referee while the VAR team also sees Sian Massey-Ellis as assistant VAR and Tim Robinson as support VAR.
