The Emirates FA Cup trophy and Joe Cole met local youngsters in Miami
A group of young footballers in Miami were able to get up close and personal with the Emirates FA Cup trophy during its trip to the USA last weekend.
Together with local grassroots football programme Alianza de Football, we were able to run a football clinic for local residents in Miami, all aged between eight and 12.
With Joe Cole, our FA Cup ambassador for this year’s trophy tour to the Sunshine State, and local coaches, participants enjoyed joining in for a number of drills and games before the opportunity to have their photo taken with the famous trophy and two-time winner Cole.
Following on from the success of last year’s FA Cup soccer clinic in New York, it once again provided a great opportunity to give back to local grassroots community in Miami and promote participation in football.
The event was also attended by world-renowned freestyler Laura Biondo to show and teach the youngsters some new tricks and skills.

This year’s trophy tour also saw two watch parties for supporters across the quarter-final weekend as well as visits to various sporting and entertainment events such as the Chase Stadium, Hard Rock Stadium and the Miami Open.
