Sheffield United and Bristol City have been fined £120,000 and £5,000 respectively for the mass confrontation at their EFL Championship fixture on Tuesday 11 March.
It was alleged that Sheffield United and Bristol City failed to ensure their players did not behave in an improper and/or provocative way, and both clubs admitted this charge.
Bristol City accepted the standard penalty. An independent Regulatory Commission imposed Sheffield United’s fine following a hearing, and its written reasons can be seen below.
