Wayne Rooney believes England's current crop of forwards is the best he has played with for the Three Lions.
Roy Hodgson's men, having qualified for next summer's European Championship with 10 wins out of 10, are in Spain to take on the current champions in a friendly.
Alongside Rooney, Hodgson has Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy in his 22-man squad, plus other attacking options with Ross Barkley, Raheem Sterling and Adam Lallana.

The manager revealed that Rooney, who missed the final two Euro qualifiers in October due to injury, will start on the bench against La Roja, while Vardy is also a doubt after struggling with a knock.
England scored 31 goals during their Group E campaign – the second highest tally behind Poland – are also without long-term absentees Danny Welbeck and Daniel Sturridge and Arsenal duo Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Nonetheless, the country's top scorer, who has fired 10 goals in 12 outings since the World Cup last year, knows that when everyone is fit, there will be tough choices when Hodgson comes to pick his 23 for Euro 2016.
“It’s the best group of strikers, certainly since I’ve been involved in the squad," said Rooney, who made his debut for the Three Lions back in 2003.
"You’ve got players like Welbeck, Sturridge, Theo, out injured and it’s a huge array of talent – it’s great for the country.
"In previous years we’ve gone into tournaments and haven’t had that many match-winners in the squad. Now we’ve got quite a few match-winners which can benefit us as a team.”
He continued: "I think there has always been competition. You want to play all the games, as a footballer you want to play. But then obviously you have to understand I have played a lot of games for England and players like Jamie Vardy have come in and done well.

"If the manager needs to have a look to see what he can do at international level, you have to understand that.
"It's a huge challenge to keep your place in the team and that's what I want to do. I want to prove myself.
"I feel certainly since Roy has been in charge, my international form has been great, I have scored a lot of goals and I hope that will continue."
Another Premier League striker is set to be in action in Alicante on Friday night – Spain's Diego Costa.
The Chelsea frontman, who was born in Brazil and has played twice for the Samba Boys, is looking to win his 10th cap for Spain when they face England.
Costa netted 21 times for the Blues last season and though he has bagged only three goals so far this campaign, Rooney is a big admirer of the 27-year-old.
"I actually voted for Costa as player of the year last season because I think he was a huge player for Chelsea," said the Manchester United skipper.
"I think what Chelsea missed the season before was that fight up front and he gave them that and I strongly believe that’s why they became champions.
"Obviously it hasn’t gone as well as it did last season for him but I think he is a fantastic player."
