England Under-17s ended the Algarve Tournament on Tuesday afternoon with a 2-0 defeat against the Netherlands in Parchal.
Two second-half goals proved enough for the Dutch against Steve Cooper’s side, who had to settle for draws with both Portugal and Germany in their first two games of the annual development competition.

After a close first half which resulted in no goals, the opener came six minutes after the restart when Tahith Chong of Feyenoord netted.
And the Dutch built on that with a quickfire second from striker Dylan Vente, also of Feyenoord, in the 52nd minute.
Cooper and his squad will now turn their attention to next month’s Euro Elite Qualifying Round on home soil, where they face Turkey, Ukraine and Finland.
