England Under-21s head coach Gareth Southgate has named a 23-man squad for his side’s Euro Qualifier with Kazakhstan this month.
The Young Lions face only one game in October, with the Ricoh Arena in Coventry hosting England’s first home qualifier of the new campaign.
And the head coach has been able to select the majority of the squad who began the new term with victories over USA U23s and Norway last month.

After being forced out of that group through injury, there is a return to the squad for Bury’s on-loan goalkeeper Christian Walton, Everton defender Brendan Galloway and Arsenal’s on-loan Hull striker Chuba Akpom.
There is also a recall for midfielder Lewis Baker, currently on loan at Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem from Chelsea, a year after his previous involvement with the U21s for the Euro play-off with Croatia last October.
Southgate’s new-look squad began the season with a 1-0 win over USA’s Olympic hopefuls in Preston, courtesy of James Wilson’s second-half winner at Deepdale.
They then got their Euro Qualifying off to a winning start, with captain James Ward-Prowse’s penalty securing three points against Norway in Drammen.
Tickets for the game at the Ricoh Arena are on sale now and cost just £10 for adults and £5 for concessions. Click here or call 024 7678 6411 to purchase tickets.
