FA chief executive Martin Glenn has given his support to football's dedicated awareness-raising campaign for disabled football fans and participants.
The Level Playing Field organisation launches its Weeks of Action campaign today, which features clubs across the leagues dedicating their support for better access and inclusion for the disabled football community.
"The Weeks of Action is a timely and welcome reminder of some of the challenges disabled supporters can face," said Glenn.
"The FA, and others, have an important role to play in raising awareness on issues such as stadium access, disability related discrimination, to ensure all fans get maximum enjoyment from the game."
Tottenham Hotspur, Sunderland, Manchester City, Ipswich Town and Exeter City are just some of the clubs pledging their support with programme articles, banners of support and on-pitch activity.
Disabled people constitute the largest minority group at around 15% of the population and this number is increasing year on year.
