The stadium game with tunnels
- The Boot Room
- 10 October 2019
Help your players develop their hiding and manoeuvring skills even further, with this progression from ‘The stadium game’.
This progression to the original ‘stadium game’ requires a greater awareness for the player on the ball. The route from one stadium to the next must be via some strategically placed “tunnels”. This gives a greater direction to the practice and presents slightly different problems for the player on the ball to overcome.
The tunnels can be wide or narrow and placed anywhere along the halfway line. The player that has lost possession, now has a smaller area to defend to prevent their opponent from travelling from one stadium to the next.
