ADOBE WOMEN'S FA CUP
ROAD TO THE SEMI-FINAL
The Adobe Women's FA Cup semi-finals are set to take place this weekend when two teams will seal their place in the 2024-25 final, which takes place on Sunday 18 May at Wembley Stadium.
Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United will battle it out to get their hands on the silverware. Chelsea entertain Liverpool at Kingsmeadow on Saturday 12 April (12.15pm BST), before Manchester City host Manchester United at the Joie Stadium on Sunday 13 April (3pm BST) in a local derby.
But first, we take a look back at how our four semi-finalists reached this stage of the competition.
CHELSEA
CHELSEA 4-0 CHARLTON ATHLETIC
FOURTH ROUND PROPER
The Blues put in a dominant display against London rivals Charlton when they entered the competition in the fourth round, running out 4-0 winners at Kingsmeadow.
With 40 minutes on the watch, Chelsea went ahead through Mayra Ramirez. And by the break, Sonia Bompastor's team were 2-0 up after Guro Reiten doubled the home side's lead on the stroke of half time.
After the restart, Aggie Beever-Jones marked her 50th appearance for the club with a goal to put Chelsea firmly in the driving seat before substitute Niamh Charles put the result beyond all doubt with 73 minutes gone.
CHELSEA 4-1 EVERTON
FIFTH ROUND PROPER
Chelsea had to come from behind in the fifth round to beat WSL opponents Everton on home turf, booking their place in the quarter-final of the competition in the process.
After falling behind inside 17 minutes, Catarina Macario got the Blues right back in it from the penalty spot. And Mayra Ramirez flipped the scoreline on it's head when she made it 2-1 with a stunning strike.
Forward Maika Hamano made it 3-1 in the second half and Sandy Baltimore converted from 12 yards after the Blues were awarded a second spot kick of the game to wrap up victory.

CHELSEA 1-0 CRYSTAL PALACE
QUARTER-FINAL
Lauren James scored the only goal of the game as Chelsea advanced to the final four with a slender victory over Crystal Palace in the quarter-finals.
After playing out a goalless first half, James struck with just over an hour played. From a corner kick, the ball fell to the attacker who was well positioned on the edge of the box, finding the back of the net with a well-taken goal.

LIVERPOOL
WEST HAM UNITED 0-5 LIVERPOOL
FOURTH ROUND PROPER
A five-star performance in the fourth round saw Liverpool progress, seeing off West Ham in a 5-0 showing away from home.
Liverpool were 1-0 up inside three minutes thanks to a Hammers own goal before striker Leanne Kiernan added a second later in the first period.
With West Ham reduced to 10 players following the dismissal of Amber Tysiak, the visitors capitalised on the advantage. With 48 minutes gone, Grace Fisk made it 3-0 before Lucy Parry opened her account for the club to make it four.
Scotland international Sam Kerr put the icing on the cake on the 70 minute mark when she made it 5-0 to cap off an impressive performance by the Reds.
RUGBY BOROUGH 0-2 LIVERPOOL
FIFTH ROUND PROPER
Liverpool left it late to seal their place in the quarter-final with victory over Rugby Borough, the lowest ranked side remaining in the competition, at the next hurdle.
The FA Women's National League side held off the Reds until the closing stages of the game when Marie Hobinger took aim from 20 yards out with six minutes left on the clock to break the deadlock.
And Mia Enderby, who was introduced off the bench at half time, sealed the win in injury time.

ARSENAL 0-1 LIVERPOOL
QUARTER-FINAL
A hard-fought victory over the Gunners saw Liverpool march on the semi-final as Sophie Roman Haug netted the winner for the Reds at Arsenal's Meadow Park.
The goal came in the 78th minute when the Norwegian international turned inside the box and rippled the net on the half-volley as the ball kissed the post on its way in and beat Arsenal stopper Daphne van Domselaar.
Despite a nervy finish to the game, Liverpool held on to set up a semi-final clash with Chelsea.

MANCHESTER CITY
MANCHESTER CITY 3-0 IPSWICH TOWN
FOURTH ROUND PROPER
Manchester City's FA Cup journey kicked off with a home tie against Ipswich Town at the Joie Stadium. It ended in a comfortable win with Jill Roord, Laura Coombs and Vivianne Miedema all making the scoresheet.
Roord struck with 20 minutes played with the Cityzens leading 1-0 at the interval. Coombs added a second after the restart before Miedema made it three to kick off the calendar year in style.
And it marked a first goal for the striker, who joined City from Arsenal in the summer, since returning from a knee injury on her first appearance since October.
MANCHESTER CITY 3-1 LEICESTER CITY
FIFTH ROUND PROPER
The Cityzens cruised through to the quarter-final, facing off against Leicester City in the fifth round to make it through to the final eight.
Leila Ouahabi was the first name on the scoresheet for Manchester City inside 18 minutes before Kerolin Nicoli bagged her first goal for the club since making the switch from North Carolina Courage.
And the club's top scorer, Khadija Shaw, got in on the act after coming on as a second-half substitute. The striker's powerful header made it 87 goals in 100 appearances in all competitions for City.

MANCHESTER CITY 2-0 ASTON VILLA
QUARTER-FINAL
With Manchester City just two games from Wembley and a chance to lift this year's FA Cup under the famous arch, league rivals Aston Villa stood in their way of a place in the semi-finals. In the end, City dispatched the Villains in a 2-0 victory with goals from Khadija Shaw and Jess Park.
Goal number 19 of the campaign for Shaw came in the second half. With 53 minutes played, the Jamaica star got the Cityzens up and running.
And England international Park made it 2-0 with 72 minutes played to pencil a date in the diary with Manchester United in April.

MANCHESTER UNITED
MANCHESTER UNITED 7-0 WEST BROMWICH ALBION
FOURTH ROUND PROPER
The reigning champions put seven past fourth round opponents West Brom to kick off their defence of the crown at Leigh Sports Village back in January in an emphatic win.
Melvine Malard broke the deadlock with 23 minutes gone but it was the latter stages of the second half that saw all the excitement. Up until the 77th minute, the Baggies still had hope of finding a leveller but the hosts turned up the dial.
Rachel Williams took home the match ball after notching a hat-trick while Celin Bizet bagged a brace and Ella Toone adding to the growing scoreline as United swept aside their opponents.

WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS 0-6 MANCHESTER UNITED
FIFTH ROUND PROPER
Marc Skinner's side brought their goalscoring boots along once again as they picked up where they left off in the fourth round, this time scoring six against Wolves Women, who had managed 31 goals themselves in the opening four rounds.
But they were no match for Manchester United. Elisabeth Terland opened the scoring in the first half before Leah Galton marked her 150th appearance for the club with a goal.
Aoife Mannion and Ella Toone added to the scoreline in the second half before 17 year old Mared Griffiths made the headlines, at the double on her senior debut.
MANCHESTER UNITED 3-1 SUNDERLAND
QUARTER-FINAL
The current FA Cup holders were semi-final bound after overcoming Championship side Sunderland in the quarter-final.
Leah Galton and Maya Le Tissier were among the goals in the first half. However, when Sunderland's Louise Griffiths pulled a goal back in the 70th minute, it gave United cause for concern.
Fortunately, Ella Toone's 91st minute header settled the home side who made it through to this season's final four.
