Football has the unique ability to capture the hearts and imagination of school children, enhance everyday school life and play a key role in supporting whole school improvement.
This can be achieved through The FA Secondary School Programmes, which is football’s lasting commitment to providing schools with child friendly programmes, high quality services that schools value, while actively engaging with teachers to ensure we complement their work.
It’s free to be involved, simple to sign up and a whole range of benefits are readily accessible.
Resources
Each term we produce a Teacher Resource Pack which includes worksheets and posters to support teachers with the materials needed to inspire and engage their pupils.
We share short videos online showcasing the role of football in schools together with stimulating content that can be used to support teachers and school staff both inside and outside the classroom.
Communication
Every half term we will distribute emails to enrolled schools, highlighting a round-up of resources and featured materials that can be downloaded free of charge, without barraging the inbox.
Our social media feeds provide daily sharing of ideas, highlighting of opportunities and supporting an online community of teachers, coaches and education professionals all working within schools.
Signing Up
Our FA Schools Portal enables quick and easy enrolment. All schools have to do is visit The FA Schools Portal, create a quick and easy profile and all resources will be stored in one place for easy access.
