His England side travel to France next week to take on the hosts, Azerbaijan and Denmark for a spot at the showpiece tournament which is being held in Greece in July.
With Middlesbrough midfielder and usual Young Lions captain Bryn Morris plus Dele Alli both ruled out through injury, Lewis Cook has been promoted from the U18s set-up to bolster the midfield. The Leeds United youngster has made over 30 appearances for the Championship side this season.

England U19s kick-off the Elites against Denmark on Thursday 26 March before they face Azerbaijan two days later. They play France in their final qualifier on Tuesday 31 March.
