Nikita Parris has signed for FA WSL 1 runners-up Manchester City Women on a permanent basis from Everton.
The 21-year-old has agreed a two-year deal following a successful loan spell at the Academy Stadium.
Parris scored 11 goals in her debut season with Nick Cushing's side and helped them qualify for the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
“I'm really happy to have signed permanently," she told mcfc.co.uk.
“I'm so glad because here at City I feel I've got a place I can call home.
“It was an easy decision for me. I wanted to stay in WSL 1 and I didn't want to go to any other club.
"Last season, City provided me with the opportunity to stay in the top division and I wanted to reward them with my full registration.
“We're going for all of the cups and every player is determined to win a trophy this season."
Parris’s signing further strengthens City’s forward options, following the capture of Scotland international Jane Ross.
Parris added: "It will be an exciting season for all of us.
“On a personal level, I want to score more goals and become a better team player.
“I'm really looking forward to working with the new signings we've made. I've welcomed them to the club and as Jane is another forward, I can't wait for the competition.
“I just want to build on what I did last season and I'm so happy to be staying.”
The new FA WSL season gets under way on 23 March.
