Liverpool will host Merseyside neighbours Everton in the stand-out Emirates FA Cup third round tie after the draw was made on Monday evening.
There is a north-east derby between Middlesbrough and Sunderland while AFC Wimbledon will travel to eight-time winners Tottenham in an all-London affair.
Holders Arsena will go to Nottingham Forest and there is a mouth-watering tie in prospect between Brighton & Hove Albion and Crystal Palace.
Fleetwood Town will take on 2016 Premier League champions Leicester City after a second round replay victory over Hereford FC.
And there is an all-Premier League encounter between leaders Manchester City and Burnley.
The draw was made by Tottenham legend, and two-time FA Cup winner, Glenn Hoddle and former Spurs and Newcastle midfielder Jermaine Jenas at Slough Town’s Arbour Park before their televised second round tie against Rochdale.
The 32 third round ties will take place across the weekend of 5-8 January 2018, with winning clubs receiving £67,500 from the FA Cup prize fund.
