England Under-21s will begin their qualifying campaign for Euro 2019 with a trip to the Netherlands in September.
The draw was made at UEFA’s Swiss headquarters last week, with the Young Lions pulled out in Group 4 alongside the Dutch, Ukraine, Scotland, Latvia and Andorra.
And the first match against local rivals Scotland will take place on Friday 6 October when England play host to the Auld Enemy.
The group qualifiers will begin in March, May and June, but with England having qualified for this year’s Euro Finals in Poland, they will begin later than the rest in September.
Kick-off times and venues for all games are yet to be confirmed, and dates are also subject to change.
