England will face Korea Republic, Guinea and Argentina in the group stage of the 2017 FIFA Under-20 World Cup.
The draw for this summer’s finals took place in Suwon on Wednesday morning, with the Young Lions joining the hosts in Group A.
Their group is completed by Argentina – who are the competition’s most successful team, having won it six times – and Guinea.
Paul Simpson’s side will kick-off their campaign against Argentina on Saturday 20 May at 7.30am (UK time) in Jeonju’s World Cup Stadium.
Next up are Guinea, again at the Jeonju World Cup Stadium, on Tuesday 23 May with a kick-off time of 8am (UK).
The group stage concludes against the host nation on Friday 26 May (11am, UK) at the Suwon World Cup Stadium, which will also host the final of the competition.
The top two sides from each of the six groups will progress to the knockout stage, along with the four best third-placed nations.
The knockout stage will be played from Tuesday 30 May, concluding with the final on Thursday 11 June.
In preparation for the U20 World Cup, the Young Lions will play games against fellow finalists France, Portugal and Senegal in a four-team tournament in Brittany this month.
