Fran Kirby is in line for the Women's PFA Players' Player of the Year award

Three England internationals are in the running for the Women's PFA Players' Player of the Year award after the nominations were announced on Sunday.

Fran Kirby and Millie Bright are two of five Chelsea players on the shortlist with Manchester City’s Jill Scott completing the line-up.

Women’s PFA Players’ Player of the Year nominees:

  • Ramona Bachmann (Chelsea)
  • Millie Bright (Chelsea)
  • Fran Kirby (Chelsea)
  • Maren Mjelde (Chelsea)
  • Jill Scott (Manchester City)
  • Ji So-Yun (Chelsea)

Meanwhile, five of the six players in line for the Women’s PFA Young Player of the Year award have all represented England at youth level, with Keira Walsh recently making the step up to the senior team.

Women’s PFA Young Player of the Year nominees:

  • Erin Cuthbert (Chelsea)
  • Gabby George (Everton)
  • Lauren Hemp (Bristol City)
  • Ellie Roebuck (Manchester City)
  • Georgia Stanway (Manchester City)
  • Keira Walsh (Manchester City)

The 45th PFA Awards will be held in London on Sunday 22 April.
