Tickets
Q. How do I buy tickets for England home games?
A. Login to your account on the England Supporters Club website and click ‘tickets’ on the top toolbar to go through to the Ticketing website. Alternatively, go straight to https://ticketing.thefa.com/. Members of the England Supporters Club and Travel Club can also purchase tickets during the priority members sale by calling 0844 847 2010.
Travel Club members receive priority access to home match sales, so the first members sale is open to Travel Club members only. The second sale period is then opened up to both Travel Club and England Supporters Club members before the home match goes on general sale.
Q. How do I purchase tickets for England away games?
A. The England Supporters Travel Club will first open a ‘registration’ period whereby Travel Club members can register their interest in purchasing a ticket to an away game. Once this registration period has closed and supporters have been notified that they have been successfully allocated a ticket, they will be able to purchase during the advertised sales window via https://ticketing.thefa.com/ or by calling 0844 847 2010.
Q. How many tickets can I purchase for England games?
A. Both England Supporters Club and Travel Club members can purchase up to 8 tickets for England home games. Only members of the Travel Club can purchase tickets to England away games; the policy is one per Travel Club member but they can purchase up to 4 in order by assigning other Travel Club fan numbers to the remaining tickets.
Q. What happens if an away game is oversubscribed?
A. Once the registration period has closed and the match is oversubscribed (there are more supporters registering for a ticket than there are available tickets) a ballot is conducted based on members caps to fairly allocate tickets to supporters who registered their interest. For more information, please refer to the Membership Rules [here].
Q. How will tickets for UEFA Euro 2020™ be allocated?
A. Only members of the England Supporters Travel Club will be able to apply for Euro 2020. Subject to England’s qualification, Travel Club members will be able to apply for tickets during UEFA’s advertised application dates. If demand exceeds supply or a certain price category is oversubscribed then it will be necessary to run a ballot based on caps system.
Q. How often are tickets to England away games and tournaments oversubscribed?
A. During the last qualifying campaign which ran between 2016 and 2018, 4 out of 10 away fixtures were oversubscribed. For the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ only the England v Belgium game was oversubscribed.
Q. When will I receive my tickets to an England home game?
A. Tickets for England home games are dispatched 2-3 weeks prior to kick-off. If you elect to receive your tickets electronically, these will be emailed to you a week before the match for printing off or adding to your Apple Wallet.
Q. Are tickets for England away games posted out?
A. No, tickets to England away qualifiers and friendlies are for collection only in the host city. Tickets for UEFA Euro 2020 group games will be posted to supporters (subject to qualification) but some supporters will be required to collect their tickets in person in each host city as per our Rules and Regulations.
Caps
Q. What are caps?
A. Caps are loyalty points awarded to both England Supporters Club and Travel Club members for attending an England Men’s senior fixture.
Q. How do I view my caps total?
A. Login to the England Supporters Club website here and they are visible on your profile page.
Q. How are caps allocated?
A. Caps are allocated based on attendance. For home games two caps are added automatically within a few days of attending a fixture. In order for caps to allocated correctly, supporters will need to assign their fan number to their ticket at the point of purchase in the priority members sale(s); once that ticket is then scanned at the turnstiles, your attendance is recorded.
Q. How are caps allocated for away matches?
A. Caps are allocated within a few days of an away match taking place. Please be aware that no caps are awarded for tournament fixtures or for tickets purchased outside of The FA.
Q. I purchased a ticket in the general sale, how do I allocate my fan number to the ticket so I can get my caps?
A. You will need to email englandsupportersclub@thefa.com with the order number and fan number(s) that need assigning. You will need to do this before the fixture takes place or within 21 days of attending a fixture. Please be aware that we cannot retrospectively apply caps for games outside of the 21 days or for tickets purchased prior to a membership being obtained.
Q. Do I get caps for renewing my Travel Club membership?
A. Based on feedback from Travel Club members, supporters who renew for the 2018-2020 period will receive 1 loyalty cap for renewing their membership and will also retain the previous renewal cap for the 2016-2018 period (where applicable).
Q. What are the caps used for?
A. In the event that an away match or tournament fixture is oversubscribed, a ballot will be undertaken using the caps system to fairly allocated tickets to members.
Q. Can I get caps added on for matches I went to before I became a member of the England Supporters Club?
A. No. For the integrity of the membership, caps can only be applied to fan numbers that were active at the time of attending the fixture.
Q. How do I get caps added to my linked junior accounts?
A. When purchasing tickets during the priority members’ sale, you need to ensure that you assign the fan numbers of the junior accounts to the appropriate tickets in the order. That way the caps can be automatically applied within a few days of attending the match.
Club Wembley
Q. What is the England Supporters Club?
A. The England Supporters Club is a free membership scheme which gives England fans priority access to home match tickets. By joining the England Supporters Club, members have the opportunity to apply for exclusive competitions and receive loyalty points (caps) for attending each England home match (excluding tournament fixtures). The England Supporters Club and England Supporters Travel Club are separate to Club Wembley.
Q. Do I automatically become an England Supporters Club member if I join Club Wembley?
A. No, the England Supporters Club and Club Wembley are two different membership schemes offering different benefits. If you join Club Wembley and wish to have the England Supporters Club membership added to your Club Wembley FAN you need to email englandsupportersclub@thefa.com with your full name, Club Wembley FAN, England Supporters FAN and date of birth so that your England Supporters Club account can be linked.
Q. How many caps can I receive if I link my Club Wembley membership with the England Supporters Club?
A. The caps policy for all members is two per match, per member. If you have more than one seat linked to your Club Wembley membership (and you are also a member of the England Supporters Club), you cannot receive more than 2 caps for this. If someone uses your Club Wembley membership to attend an England home game and wishes to receive caps for it, they too need to join the England Supporters Club and email englandsupportersclub@thefa.com to have the accounts linked.
Q. I have been a Club Wembley for some time and have recently joined the England Supporters Club; can I get my caps backdated?
A. No, for the integrity of the England Supporters Club membership, caps are only applied to England Supporters Club and England Supporters Travel Club memberships that were active at the time of attending the match. We cannot backdate caps onto England Supporters Club memberships that were obtained after attending and caps cannot be retrospectively applied for matches that took place more than 21 days ago.
Q. How long does it take for caps to be updated?
A. Caps are usually applied to accounts within a few days of a fixture taking place. For Club Wembley members, the process takes a little while longer as the gate data has to be requested first, then cross-referenced to the database of Club Wembley members with linked England Supporters Club or Travel Club accounts.
Q. What is the difference between the England Supporters Club and the England Supporters Travel Club?
A. The England Supporters Travel Club entitles members to access to both home and away match tickets, including tournaments (should England qualify). The Travel Club membership is £75 for adults (£30 for juniors) and currently runs until July 2020. If you are a Club Wembley member and wish to have access to away match tickets, you can join the Travel Club.
Q. How many away match tickets can I access with an England Supporters Travel Club membership?
A. The ticket policy for away matches is strictly one ticket per Travel Club membership. If you wish to attend England away games with other people, they would also need to join the Travel Club in order to be eligible.
Q. Can I transfer my away match tickets to someone else, like I can with my Club Wembley tickets?
A. No. England away match tickets (including tournament tickets) are non-transferable under any circumstance. If you can no longer attend an England away match that you have been allocated a ticket to, you can email englandsupportersclub@thefa.com up to 28 days before kick-off to have your ticket cancelled and a refund issued.
