England's allocations for UEFA EURO 2020 have been confirmed by UEFA. The information and advice provided in this news story is subject to change based on the number of applications submitted to UEFA. We will endeavour to update members accordingly when more information is released.
EURO 2020 APPLICATIONS
Please submit your application by Thursday 12 December in order for us to provide further advice!
Category advice
At the time of writing at 9am Tuesday 10 December and based on current applications submitted to UEFA so far, only the Round-of-16 (R16) and Quarter Final (QF) are oversubscribed. All Wembley matches are currently under-subscribed.
For the R16, category 3 is heavily oversubscribed; members on 44 caps or below are advised to either move categories of at least tick the box to accept category 2.
For the QF, category 3 is also oversubscribed; members on 35 caps or below are advised to either move categories or at least tick the box to accept category 2.
Given this information and based on the queries we are still receiving from Travel Club members, we strongly recommend all members who wish to attend an England match at EURO 2020 submit their application before 5pm on Thursday 12 December.
This will allow us to review the application data provided by UEFA before Monday 16 December and advise members accordingly if any category changes are required before the final application deadline at 1pm (2pm CET) Wednesday 18 December.
Category splits
Fans First tickets
Based on the information provided by UEFA, the 'Fans First' tickets for the semi-final and Final are heavily oversubscribed. We would advise any Travel Club members on less than 30 caps to apply for category 3 tickets and tick the box to accept a category either side.
We've received confirmation from UEFA that 'Fans First' tickets are generally located in the front rows of Level 1 and the back rows of Level 5. When applying for 'Fans First' tickets (or any other category) please bear in mind that you will not be able to select which tier you wish to be sat in.
Group bookings
Members applying in groups with varying caps level should note that some members may miss out on a ticket for the R16 and QF matches depending on which category they select. As previously advised, fans that are on a similar caps level should apply together; however top and low cappers are encouraged to apply separately and for a different category in order to have a better chance of being successful for this match. For example for the R16 and QF :
Lead member Tom has 52 caps and applies for category 3 tickets. Dick and Harry have 15 caps each and apply with Tom for category 3 tickets. It is likely that Tom will be successful in his application but Dick and Harry will not be allocated tickets (due to their caps level). Therefore, we would strongly advise that Tom apply on his own for category 3 tickets (or with others on a similar caps level) and Dick and Harry apply separately for a category 1 or 2 ticket (and check the box to say that they would accept a category either side). Therefore, all three members have a better chance of being allocated tickets - albeit separately.
Disabled access tickets
Currently we are under-subscribed across all England matches for Wheelchair Accessible and Easy Access tickets. Again, if you are still to complete your application, please do so before Thursday 12 December. Please ensure you upload a valid proof of disability to UEFA's portal; blue badges are not accepted.
If your carer is a Travel Club member, you can assign their details to your application straight away. If your carer is not a member, you'll need to create a free England Supporters Club membership for them (using their information) so that a FAN number is generated. Once you have that FAN number, please email englandsupportersclub@thefa.com with their details so that we can upload it to UEFA's ticket portal for validation.
Please complete this process by Thursday 12 December.
How to edit your application
If you need to amend your application as a result of today's information, please login to the UEFA portal below and click the button which says "create or edit your application". After you've made your changes, you MUST click the button which says "submit application". If you do not click that button, none of you changes will be saved.
Not a member of the Travel Club?
If you're a member of the free England Supporters Club, unfortunately you're not eligible to apply for tickets through The FA's allocation. The only way to submit an application is if you upgrade to the England Supporters Travel Club by Friday 13 December in order to be eligible to apply on Monday 16 December. To upgrade, please go to TheFA.com/joinestc.
