England’s Women’s World Cup squad numbers have been revealed, as the Lionesses continue their preparations for next month’s finals in France.
The players will meet up at St. George’s Park later today (Thursday 16 May) as they prepare for their final ‘Road to France Series’ matches against Denmark at a sold-out* Banks’s Stadium in Walsall (Saturday 25 May) and a send-off meeting with New Zealand at Brighton & Hove Albion’s Amex Stadium (Saturday 1 June).

The Lionesses then fly to Nice on Tuesday 4 June for a mouthwatering opening group game against Scotland (Sunday 9 June), head north to Le Havre to take on Argentina (Friday 14 June) before their final group match against Japan (Wednesday 19 June) back in Nice.
And England’s squad numbers for this summer's showpiece have been confirmed.
Skipper Steph Houghton will wear No 5 while Nikita Parris will wear the No 7 shirt.
Forward Jodie Taylor receives the No 9 jersey while Keira Walsh will don No 4.
Head coach Phil Neville said: “Releasing the squad numbers is another significant moment on our World Cup journey.
“We’ve tried to keep the same numbers as we used in our last camp as we knew the players were happy with those choices.
“Excitement is really starting to kick in and it’ll be great to work with most of the squad [aside from those playing in Saturday’s Champions League final] over the next few days at St. George’s Park as we prepare for our last two games before departing for France.
“The new kits are great and the players can’t wait to wear them at this summer’s tournament.”
