Jordan Henderson and Raheem Sterling will miss England’s forthcoming UEFA Nations League fixture against Iceland.
Henderson was withdrawn at half time of the Three Lions' defeat to Belgium on Sunday evening, while Sterling was ruled out of the game completely. The pair have now returned to their respective clubs for further assessment.
Gareth Southgate will continue his preparations for Wednesday's game with a 22-man squad. After a light training session in Belgium this morning, England have now returned to their base in Surrey ahead of their final match of 2020.
