Important information on England's fixture against Ukraine

Wednesday 30 Jun 2021

England beat Germany 2-0 on Tuesday evening and now face Ukraine in the Quarter Final.  The match will take place on Saturday 3 July in Rome.

Unfortunately The FA will not be selling any tickets via the England Supporters Travel Club for this fixture given the travel restrictions in place across both countries.

The rationale behind this decision is as followed:

  • Under the UK Government’s traffic light system Italy is currently listed as an amber country

  • The UK Government’s travel advice clearly states that fans should not travel to red and amber countries to protect public health in the UK from new Covid variants

  • The Italian authorities are responsible for setting and enforcing the rules for entry into Italy. Its current guidance states that from 21 June, people travelling from the UK or those who have been in the UK in the previous 14 days must self-isolate for 5 days upon arrival in Italy, after which they must take a rapid antigenic or molecular swab test for COVID-19 and test negative for release

  • This means that fans travelling from the UK to Italy after 28 June will not arrive in time to be able to watch the EURO 2020 quarter-final in Rome on 3 July 2021

  • Anyone found violating restrictive measures will be faced with a fine ranging from 400 to 3000 Euros and possible criminal charges

  • Further guidance for British fans planning to travel to attend the rescheduled UEFA EURO 2020 can be found on the Government’s Be On The Ball webpage

  • The FCDO Travel Advice pages remain under constant review to ensure they reflect the latest information on entry requirements

If you are not subject to these restrictions and want to purchase a ticket to the Quarter Final in Rome, General Access tickets will be sold via UEFA's Ticket Portal.

Tickets will remain on sale until they are sold out.
