We are on the lookout for a new charity partner ahead of the 2021-22 season

Wednesday 31 Mar 2021

We have today begun a search for our next charity partner, to be in place by the beginning of the 2021-22 season.

Following successful partnerships with the likes of Teenage Cancer Trust, Breast Cancer Care, the Bobby Moore Fund and Heads Together over recent years, the organisation is looking for a new UK title charity partner to work in collaboration and harness the power of football to create an impactful legacy across the community.

We're looking for a partner with national reach which is aligned with football and is either committed to improving mental and physical health or passionate about youth, education and social inclusion.

Any organisations that wish to apply to be our next charity partner can do so by clicking here.

The application window will close at midday on Wednesday 14 April 2021, after which point the shortlisting process will begin. The new partnership will officially launch at the FA Community Shield, scheduled for August 2021.

Edleen John, our director of international relations, corporate affairs and co-partner for equality, diversity and inclusion, said: "Our previous charity partnerships have created tangible, lasting change and positively impacted millions of lives both on and off the pitch.

"We're extremely proud of what we've achieved together with many remarkable organisations who are truly passionate about creating better opportunities for those who need support.

"We're excited to find a title charity partner that shares the same values as the FA and is committed to using the power of football to unite communities and break down barriers, ensuring the game is truly for all. Our colleagues will be part of the voting process which we feel is important in ensuring we choose a charity partner which is close to our hearts and meets the organisation’s objectives."
