The Emirates FA Cup returns on Friday as the remaining teams prepare to battle it out for a place in the quarter-final of the competition.
Take a look at a standout stat from each of the upcoming ties ahead of the weekend:
Aston Villa v Cardiff City
Morgan Rogers has had a hand in three of Aston Villa’s four FA Cup goals in 2024-25 (2 goals, 1 assist), scoring in both matches. He’s also made the most dribbles of any Villa player (6), while he has the second-most chances created (4) and shots attempted (5) this season.
Crystal Palace v Millwall
Millwall and Crystal Palace will face for the 100th time in all competitions. The Lions are winless in five against their London rivals (D3 L2) since a 3-0 win on New Year’s Day in 2011.

Preston North End v Burnley
This will be the 144th meeting between Preston and Burnley in all competitions, with the two sides facing each other on the first ever day of the Football League in September 1888 (Preston 5-2 Burnley). However, it’s the first time the two Lancashire sides have ever met in the FA Cup.
Bournemouth v Wolverhampton Wanderers
Bournemouth have reached the FA Cup fifth round for only the seventh time in their history, with four of those coming since they reached the top-flight for the first time in 2015. The Cherries have progressed to the quarter-final just twice, in 1956-57 against Spurs and 2020-21 against Burnley.
Manchester City v Plymouth Argyle
Having beaten Brentford and Liverpool in the third and fourth round of the FA Cup this season, Plymouth are looking to become the first team from outside the top-flight to eliminate Premier League opposition in three consecutive rounds since Wigan in 2017-18. The Latics beat Manchester City 1-0 in the fifth round back then.
Manchester United v Fulham
Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes has been involved in 11 goals in his last 11 appearances in the FA Cup, scoring seven and assisting four. He’s only failed to register a goal or an assist in two of these 11 games.

Newcastle United v Brighton and Hove Albion
Newcastle’s William Osula averages a goal or assist every 48 minutes in the FA Cup, scoring seven and assisting three across seven appearances in the competition (480 minutes).
Nottingham Forest v Ipswich Town
Ipswich are playing in the FA Cup fifth round for the second time this century, losing 1-0 to Watford in 2006-07 previously. They last reached the quarter-final of the competition in 1992-93.
