The England U20s captain completed his move to stadiummk on Wednesday, and he arrives with an ambition to match the accomplishments of his fellow Blues youngster.
Bamford, who is now on loan himself at Middlesbrough, spent nearly a year at the Dons where he scored 18 goals in League One, and Baker wants to make a similar impression.

"Patrick’s a great player and a great person," Baker told mkdons.com. "He’s now in the Championship and I personally think he could play in the Premier League. He came here and did really well and hopefully I can too."
Baker will spend the rest of this campaign with Karl Robinson’s side, after a short spell with Sheffield Wednesday earlier this season and he is not only after experience from his spell in MK1, but he wants to taste promotion too.
"I’m definitely exciting by this opportunity," he added.
"This is a good club and they’re expecting to do big things between now and the end of the season - it will be a good experience for me.
"I’ve learnt a lot this season training with the Chelsea first-team on a regular basis and I also enjoyed my time at Sheffield Wednesday. I’ve gained valuable experience everywhere I’ve gone so far and hopefully that will continue here.

Baker could make his debut on Saturday when the Dons face Coventry City at the Ricoh Arena.
He may also feature for Aidy Boothroyd’s Young Lions when England U20s take on USA at Plymouth on Sunday 29 March.
Ticket details for the match at Home Park will be announced shortly, although they will be priced at £3 for adults and £1 for concessions.
